Neil Young sang a song a song in the 70's  about Mother Nature abandoning  the pillaged planet, and going in search of a new beginning ("silver seed"). The Caribbean  is now off-season,  tourists board cruiseships to find a new place to colonize,(or inhabit for 8 hours) called Alaska.
