Hong Kong did not unfold horizontally. It stacked itself: airport, bridge, tunnel, tower, garden, tram, hill, cloud, harbor and ship. We arrived at 07:30 after too little sleep, carrying foreign currency, airport fatigue and the mistaken belief that arrival is a single event. Hong Kong corrected us immediately.
