The ElixirBack Home in Kent
There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes. Wellington boots, rain, green muddy fields, and the quiet pleasure of being back home.
The Return
No Bad Weather, Only Bad Clothes
I got the Wellington boots on and walked through the rain and green muddy fields of Kent.
Surrounded by some of the finest countryside in the whole of the South East of England, it is good to be back home.
The weather is not the problem. The equipment is.
Field Notes
The Countryside Does Not Need Good Lighting
Rain, mud, boots, hedgerows, and distance on foot. The point is not to wait for England to become California. The point is to dress for England.

The Kent Equation
Rain + Boots + Green Fields = HomeBack Home
From Heat to Hedgerows
Travel makes contrast visible. The distance between Qatar and Kent is measured in more than miles: climate, pace, texture, light, and the small rituals that tell the body it has returned.

Companion Stories
The UK Becomes a Living Archive
Kent is one return point. Sussex, Portsmouth, Eastbourne, and London extend the same map: home not as one fixed address, but as a network of familiar places revisited from different versions of yourself.
