Russian oligarch Andre Melnichenko has a mega yacht called A. Is it mega beautiful or mega ugly?
The bow seems to rise above the waterline, creating a cool submarine effect. It does not look designed to blend in. It looks designed to provoke a verdict.
Some yachts announce wealth. This one announces an argument.

The hull profile appears to sit above the water, making the vessel look part yacht, part submarine, and part moving sculpture.
The Memory
Somewhere Between Cabo and the Open Ocean
I had seen it two years earlier somewhere—either Cabo or out on the open ocean. I cannot remember exactly where.
That uncertainty may be the best measure of the design. The place disappeared from memory. The yacht did not.
