Aruba--Art Imitates Life

Why do they call it Planet Earth
when it is clearly ALL ocean.


My first exposure to cruising was on TV's The Love Boat series which was set on a cruise ship.

The phrase “art imitates life” is an observation
that a creative work has been inspired by true events.
 The show was filmed on The Pacific Princess and The Island Princess, during regular voyages.

It is  really cool that I am sailing  on the Island Princess.I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be---on a cruise ship.

The Love Boat Plot Summary:


Love is in the air...Well, not only in the air but also in the sea! Passengers who search for romantic nights aboard a beautiful ship traveling to tropical or mysterious countries, decide to pass their vacation aboard the "Love Boat" where Gopher, Dr.Adam, Isaac, Julie and Captain Stubing try their best to please them and sometimes help them fall in love. Things are not always so easy but in the end love wins and everybody leaves the dreamboat satisfied.








I Need My Space And My Ocean(s)
The fact that we live at the bottom of a deep gravity well, on the surface of a gas covered planet going around a nuclear fireball 90 million miles away and think this to be normal is obviously some indication of how skewed our perspective tends to be-Douglas Adams
