The Statue is the Sint Maarteen

All I wanted for Christmas was a sun tan. Mission accomplished.  In the middle of nowhere and the center of everything, home is where your computer is. There is a GR8 internet connection on board.

Caribbean Blue-The Year Of Magical Thinking

Deja Vu

Wish Fulfillment  and The  Law Of Attraction

My definition of Thinking is when your  mind is separate from your  body: Some call it dreaming. I call it using your imagination. It is the preview of life's coming attractions. That's when you can leap long distances,  go forward and backward  in time, walk  through solid brick walls and never age,

My definition of Magical Thinking,  or MT, is when we can manufacture experiences in our mind, and then later, attract these situations into our life.  The mind IS, after all, what the brain DOES. Put simply, you  attract into your  life whatever you consistently think about.

After-redesigning my blog last night, and going through the over 500 posts, I ask myself,  " Have I  advanced confidently in the direction of my dreams, and  endeavored to live the life I have imagined?"  and, more than that , "Have  I have met with a success, unknown in common hours?.". Maybe.

That is what we are supposed to do when we are at our best --make it all up --but make it up so truly that later it will happen that way. Hemingway

Atlantic And Pacific Ocean- Sage On The Stage

Art Worth Sea-ing Pacific Ocean 2010 (above), Atlantic Ocean 2009 (Below)

Death By Power Point
Power corrupts, PowerPoint corrupts absolutely.

 Joe Montana 'Notre Dame Days
The language of Business is Power Point---A good PP needs to be 10 slides, 20 minutes, and 40 picas(big typeface).PowerPoint doesn’t kill meetings. People kill meetings. Using  PowerPoint is like having a loaded gun  on the table: You can do very bad things with it.

Sometimes PPT is a Presentation tool, sometimes I am an a Presentation Tool! Switching my "skill set" over to live lectures and talks is like stand up comedy. I'm leveraging the past "in the trenches" war stories, and re-creating.

All You Need Is Max

USA-Loving The Art In Myself And Me In The Art

If your ship doesn't come in, swim out to it.

The Mother Teresa of the Cruise Ship Art Auction World--turning water into wine, The Ed Reif brand, handing out the sacrement of faith--, and as M. T.  said herself" My wish is that everyone that meets me, leaves a little bit happier"

Time To Shovel Sunshine Write? Right!
It is cold in Saint Louis-The wind shows me  how close to the edge I am. I need the weather to change so I can start a conversation, or write something on this blog again!

December, 2007  I was in the Sun of Hawaii, December 2008-the heat of Saudi Arabia, December, 2009, the warmth of The Caribbean.

Tahiti and the South Pacific, is looking pretty good right now.

Indianapolis-Come Together

From Xerox To Infinity-Copy Right? Wrong!

Almost all music is distributed today in digital, rather than analog, thanks to itunes  Back in analog days, music insisted on being triaged  by a record label,  and produced in commercial  recording studios where musicians were  often backed up by large symphonic orchestras.

In France this week, I met with Legendary Record Producer  Jean Claude Pierricwho showed me  his  albums, a  catalog of 2000 plus Jazz Funk  hits from the 60's, 70's and 80's.

Like the Beatles, JC resisted the allure of digital downloads, instead selling old-fashioned compact discs  after remastering his  catalog. Of course, his songs still made their way to digital. Many hip hop artists are "inspired" by his  sound(s).

As Picasso once said, Good artists copy, great artists steal. Make the call- Do these two sound alike? Are The Beat Nuts GR8!
