Let the geeks inherit the earth
Embracing the life forced upon me, I have nothing to do and all day to do it. An accident of birth, being born in the USA, I won the geographically-desirable-places-to-live-on-the-planet lottery, and have squandered my inheritence in the United States of Unconsciousness, a shared hallucination of the three P's--- Pills, Porn and Poker. This sort of instant gratification takes too long. I am sitting down at my computer and taking a stand---Home is a feeling not a place, it isn't where my heart is anymore , its where my computer is.My computer is my phone and it's not so phoney anymore now hat I have a G1 android. and I no longer feel like the digital homeless.
I want to travel to faraway places to watch, in fascination, the kind of people I ignore at home on Facebook and Twitter and blogger.
Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy a $5 cup of coffee that I drink from a paper cup, which is kinda the same thing. Sitting in an ephiphany chair, pontificating about NYU, the mental instutiton I dropped out ofNYU, Now Your Unemployed, freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose. After all, you can never lose or leave yourself. Wherever I go there I am, with the Mr Brightside attitude that I am never now how I have been Yet freedom comes from doing what has been done to you--being born in America is being kidnapped and sold into slavery. Yank my doodle dandy. Even though The grass isn't greener on the other side, it's greener where you water it. I am outta here. Any place but here, and I want to be suprised everyday.
An adventure is something more but nothing less than bad planning.I wanted to go to Hawaii, the aloha spirit and the white sandy beaches. It has been weeks since I have been able to get anywwhere, and the more I realize that I am getting farter away from my destination, the more I realize that the trip is the destination.
I know both sides because I am both sides: a tourist who doesn't know where I've been; a traveller who doesn't know where he's going. I haven't been everwhere, but it's on my list. I thought college was the longest vacation I ever took; but this Graduate School seamester is a kind of study abroad in Nomadic Pursuits.

When you’re traveling, you are what you are right there and then. People don’t have your past to hold against you. No yes in yesterdays on the road
Procrastinate now! Infinite patience brings imediate results.CHange is instant; geting ready for change however takes forever.
"You're not going to see people like this again for a long time, he said and I said I always saw people like this & he looked at me for a moment and said, You're not from around here, are you?"
