Getting Ready for Hawaii


T he Paul Hall Center for Maritime Training and Education offers the most U.S. Coast Guard-approved courses of any maritime school in the nation. I had so much fun. After completing the 16-hour Basic Fire Fighting course and presented with the Certificate of Training , MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. Basic Fire Fighting, First Aid/CPR, Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities, and Personal Survival Training. I am ready to join a ship!.
Extinguishing different types of fire using Those, nozzles and that fire engine hose equipment was a thrill. A lot of kick in the water pressure- Great shot of me, thanks to my buddy's camera phone




Developed  knowledge, understanding and practical competence where appropriate in: Theory of combustion Extinguishing methods, starvation; smothering; cooling Course of action when discovering a fire Classification of fires Fire Prevention; safe practice; fire consciousness; good housekeeping Fire fighting equipment; fire extinguishers; foam equipment and systems; fire detection and extinguishing systems; breathing apparatus.
